The ultra-allrounder: thruster, quad or twin; sideshore, onshore, small waves or big waves. Five lightweight Starboxes weigh the same as three regular fin boxes, so versatility doesn’t come at a price. The three smallest sizes (65, 72, 76) are designed by Mark and Jaeger Stone. The four largest sizes (86, 93, 99, 105) are designed by Albert Pijoan, Dany Bruch and PWA World Champion Philip Köster. The UltraKode 80 is a merger of the two groups, utilizing the outline and bottom of the bigger boards with the rocker and rails of the smaller models.
Five fin boxes: set up as quad, thruster or single fin according to conditions and your riding style.
The UltraKodes 99 and 105 are supplied with a set of the MFC TF thruster fins. The Jaeger Stone (65, 72, 76 and 80) and Philip Köster models (86 and 93) are supplied with Jaeger’s signature Stone Surf G-10 thruster fins by Drake.
The UltraKodes comes with four lightweight Starboxes and one US box.
The Starbox system allows you to fit Slot Box fins in five seconds each while remembering your last setting to get you on the water faster. It is also compatible with US box fins.
The new rounded-pin tail shape makes turns easier, giving more confidence and making it easier to commit in the bottom turns and cutbacks. They have become more forgiving on the waves, making them even easier to ride than last year
Compared to the previous generation Kode Waves and Quads, the UltraKode has less tail kick and less nose scoop for higher top-speeds, quick planing and more control.
The three smallest models (65, 72 and 76) have a double concave in the nose, running into a round Vee in the tail. The bigger models have a mono-concave with double concave in front of the fins and a flat Vee on the tail.
“Fell in love with it straight away. In comparison to my previous 72 and current boards I felt like I didn’t have to rely as heavily on my fins to hold through the turns, and could actually use the rail, keeping it engaged for longer and getting more out of the turn. Could do short sharp turns, vertical turns and release when I wanted as well.”

YULEX FOOTSTRAPS AND THICK PADS
The new generation Drake footstraps are made with FSC-certified, sustainably sourced and plant-based Yulex foam. With 85% natural rubber content, CO² emitted during the manufacturing process is reduced by 80%. The remaining 15% of synthetic neoprene is kept to improve UV resistance.
Carefully sourced with the smoothest fabric for a comfortable feel.
The UltraKodes feature 10mm thick footpads with a diamond grooving pattern that provides grip and comfort over extended sessions while being resistant to wear-and-tear.
FLAX BALSA – OUR MOST INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY
The UltraKodes are available in our new construction designed for the lightest weight but also the lowest carbon footprint; Flax Balsa. Natural end-grain balsa covers the bottom of the board, providing the board with its overall stiffness and reduced weight. The full sandwich deck uses natural uni-directional flax fibres with carbon stripes to reinforce and stiffen the most stressed sections. A full-perimeter Carbon-Innegra rail band adds extra strength.
THE FLAGSHIP CONSTRUCTION
